La Coste in Luberon

DSC_0682La Coste is a great little village in the Luberon across the valley from Bonneaux.  At the top of the village are the ruins of the chateau of the infamous Marquis de Sade.  If you want a medieval village, this is it.  Every street is cobblestone, most are very narrow and scenic.  You cannot drive in the old town.  You have to park and walk in.  Also located in La Coste is the famous art college Savannah School of Art and Design.  You will see artists hanging around drawing or painting the scenery.  The views from La Coste are sensational as are the views within the town.
